One of the actions I took to try to keep up some momentum in the build was to join the owners club, JPSC.
I invited myself along to the first meet of 2013, and drove the family bus through the falling snow to Liphook, Hampshire. When the car is built, the roads should offer a bit of entertainment 🙂
I was impressed there was even a meet, seeing as it is the middle of winter. Matt, Andy, Nev and Steve(? – sorry, crap with names) made me feel very welcome, and it was good to spend a few hours talking cars and builds. I am looking forward to the next meet!
Now I have met people who understand, I have nowhere to hide – I am going to have to make real progress with the build if I want to show my face again 😉
